Communion is a powerful way to remember Christ's sacrifice on the cross. The bread that we break and the cup we drink represent the covenant between humanity and Jesus Christ. The blood of the covenant allowed humanity to once live in communion with God. Jesus Christ's blood has eternal life, and He made the old Mosaic covenant obsolete.
