God disciplines His children to walk in the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
If you follow in the wisdom and instruction of the Bible, you know that God is diligent to discipline His children when they are in the wrong. God addresses you as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ.
The God of Israel does not withhold discipline because He has set you aside. When you step out of bounds, the rod of discipline will come down at some point. The Father of Spirits knows your heart and will bring down parental discipline when you fail to follow the instruction of the Lord.
