Darkness and light are a constant theme in the Bible.
In the deep darkness of night, Jesus is the light. The love of God is the light from the darkness. He can turn darkness to light.
Whoever follows the word of God walks in the glory of God. Whoever turns from the Gospel walks in the darkness. The Scripture has the light of the knowledge.
As children of God, it is essential to let the Gospel guide our feet. We walk as children and shine our light in the Lord. At one time, you were darkness. Now you are children of light with God.
If you wear the armor of light for the gentiles, you will lead people to salvation. As Christians, we must shine out of the darkness. We carry the message we have heard to all around the world.
We have composed our 35 favorite Bible verses about light and darkness. Use these in your reading plan, Bible study, or small group. Believe in the light of salvation because it is what calls us home.
1. John 1:5 KJV
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
