Have you ever spent time thinking about "What is my purpose in life?"
God designed every person for a specific role in the grand scheme. But God's plans are usually only known to God. The purpose of your life may not be immediately apparent.
We all have access to God through the Word of God. We all know that God's people receive God's grace. He saved us and called us according to purpose and grace. God's promise is that we all have eternal life through the blood of Jesus Christ.
God's sovereignty reigns supreme in heaven and on earth. In good times and hard times, it is the Lord's purpose that prevails. The only way for us to understand is to put our life in Christ Jesus. God lives in every person's heart who believes in Him.
In today's Bible study, we will study the bible verses about God's calling. Through these Bible verses, may you begin trusting God and understanding the glory of God. Lean upon the Holy Spirit in standing firm in your God-given purpose:
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.
