Importance of Self-Discipline
According to the Word of God, God wants us to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives.
But as humans, we tend to stray towards ungodliness and worldly passions and to live according to the flesh. Evil desires come daily due to our sin nature.
To live a Christian life is to answer the upward call of God. The goal for the prize of the upward life is to grow closer to Christ Jesus. Lean on the Holy Spirit to run with endurance in the race of life.
Brothers and sisters, don't strive for the perishable wreath. Strive for the eternal life. Find God in Christ Jesus. God has appeared as a man to show how to live a self-controlled and self-disciplined life.
