It's easy to feel afraid or discouraged when we encounter hard times.
When we read Bible stories in Sunday School about being strong and courageous, we often reflect on how David bravely fought Goliath or Moses defying the Pharaoh.
But even they lean on the Holy Spirit to finally be strong in the Lord. They had to count on God during trying times. Standing firm in courage requires putting on the full armor of God.
The Lord, your God, will never leave you nor forsake you. Don't be discouraged, for the Lord Jesus Christ is with you. Be strong and take heart. Wait for the Lord to give you strength.
In today's Bible study, we will read Bible quotes about courage and strength. God strengthens His children. God gives us power, love, and self-discipline to live our lives with dignity and honor.
