Pain and suffering is not a bad thing. God allows suffering to happen in our lives. There is glory in our suffering because it makes us rely on Him. Suffering produces perseverance. It will make you more compassionate. It will make you more merciful.
You have probably been through a situation where suffering crushed you in spirit. It might be physical pain or chronic pain. It might even be emotional pain. You probably have tried everything to get out of that situation.
But God might be saying "Look, it's not going to get better until you put your faith in me."
You might have to say "Okay, Lord, I'll do it in Your timing."
And, of course, God's timing is always perfect.
Wait for the Lord. God is faithful in all situations. Our pain is incomparable to the sufferings of Christ Jesus.
You can significantly rejoice in God's words that His glory is revealed. You will never be tempted beyond your ability. God's promises will never fail. His eternal glory shines through your dependence on Him.
